The client approached us with a request to simultaneously interpret a professional procurement conference in 4 different languages and in various combinations. This also required us to arrange for the interpreting equipment and find professionals in the given field.

During the simultaneous interpretation of the conference, we provided:

a complete set of interpreting equipment for each interpreter,
3 large ISO-certified interpreting booths,
connection to a localised sound system,
audio recording of all four languages,
100 receivers for participants to listen into.

Project progression details

Interpreting

The selection of interpreters was preceded by language orientation and expertise in procurement and sales.
The client provided interpreters with materials in advance to ensure fluent interpretation, but there were some sections that didn’t come with preparatory materials. Our professional translators with great insight managed to interpret even these parts.

Interpreting equipment

The equipment itself was set up before the event in order to avoid chaos and ensure everything was ready on time.
The conference went smoothly without any loss of signal from the interpreter’s receivers, which had a positive impact on both speakers and listeners alike.
During simultaneous interpretation, two technicians were also present to ensure no technical difficulties occurred.
