Translata becomes 100% owner of start-up Localization Guru

Translation agency Translata has bought 100% of translation start-up Localization Guru – an acquisition that highlights the importance of innovation in this relatively traditional sector.

A sector which at first sight seems traditional, translation is in fact heavily influenced by the latest technologies – which assist both translators as well as customers. Hence Translata’s interest in this latest acquisition.

About Localization Guru

Translata and Localization Guru

Start-up Localization Guru was founded in 2014 as an innovative project that aimed to simplify the translation process for businesses and the public. Professional translations delivered by experienced translators can order translations conveniently online. This cuts out the need for direct communication with a project manager, and shortens the ordering process to minutes. Communication with the translation agency takes place online in five simple steps – during which the client sets out the basic specifications for the translator to deliver a good translation. The client also gets all information about price and delivery date, with the immediate benefit of instant online payment.

“Start-up Localization Guru has done well in just a few years, and we’re very excited to take this young company under our wing. For Localization Guru clients it brings positives in terms of the first-class translations that we deliver at Translata thanks to verified suppliers, years of experience, effective project management, and a triple-control system. And Translata welcomes a new, promising project that perfectly complements our overall philosophy. We’re confident that we can move this start-up forward, and also provide our clients with an alternative that saves their time and money,“ adds Tomáš Polerecký, CEO of Translata.

Localization Guru will remain a distinct and unique project the services, management and administration of which will be delivered under the Translata brand. Localization Guru clients currently include companies such as Johnson Controls, CBRE, and Hyperloop HTT, who already enjoy the benefits of simple, fast, and quality translations through online orders.
